"Tired of browsing through the newspapers each day to find dreadful news about yet another bike accident? Even with the government mandating the use of helmets, there are a quite a few who pay no heed to this safety rule.

All that is going to change - this aptly named "Smart Helmet", attempts to solve the current problem of lack of road transport safety. This completely autonomous project ensures that the rider has worn the helmet and only then enables the motorbike to be started. If the helmet isn't worn, your bike just won't budge!

What's more - If the rider removes the helmet any time in the journey, a warning will be read out eventually leading to the cutting out of the power to the engine. This project is a unique and new concept with great scope for future integration in transport and safety!
